Our name, Sanko International Corporation, is long and sounds quite formal, but much of our work is of a technical, down-to-earth nature. We are best at taking the bare bones of a concept, discussing the ins and outs with the client, working together to discover what is actually needed, then conducting technical and cost analyses to develop a high-quality product that meets final needs.
Ever since our establishment in 1973 we have designed products to meet client requirements, and manufactured them outside Japan. By conducting production overseas, we became a pioneer among Japanese companies. In the early days we designed products in Tokyo but manufactured them in South Korea. For the last quarter century we have been manufacturing products in China, using processes that start with making metal dies, forming plastics and processing metals. Throughout that time we have used the same factory. Today, through the transfer of our technologies from Japan, local technicians at the factory in China are skilled in the arts of design, manufacture and quality control.
Japanese companies cannot avoid the high cost of business, but we have been able to reduce that cost to a minimum while making carefully crafted high-performance products. Since our company’s establishment, we have worked with some of the world’s major companies in Japan and the United States, and take pride in our ability to continue performing high-quality work. We are a small company, but our work and products are as fine as those of major corporations.
